Passionate about fungi, I am fascinated by their interactions and their roles in ecosystems. I continuously seek to understand the biological and ecological mechanisms that govern them and their interactions with plants, insects and others organisms.

I have had the opportunity to study fungi at several scales. First, at the seed level, analyzing the microorganisms associated with seeds in the context of biological resource conservation.
At the ecosystem level, I focused on microorganisms in the rhizosphere compartment, to study the influence of factors such as tree genotype and edaphic conditions, for fundamental understanding and ecological restoration. I carry out taxonomic work, particularly in tropical ecosystems, with the aim of better characterizing and organizing knowledge of fungal biodiversity for conservation purposes.
At the landscape level, I had the opportunity to participate in a study on fungi in old-growth forests in Europe.
This led me to begin a thesis in 2026 on Multitrophic Symbiosis of Bats, Parasitic Flies, and Fungi: Implications for Ecology and Conservation at the Laboratory of Fungal Ecology and Evolution, University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, Crezia (supervisor : Danny Haelewaters).
